ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: 

McDougall Energy is looking for a high energy, results focused individual as a Site Manager, at our Elliot Lake Esso Retail Fueling Station and Convenience Store location. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Retail, the Site Manager is responsible for the overall supervisor of the retail operations of the site ensuring consistent company culture, goals, and objectives are met.

• Responsible for all activities at the site, including daily operation of gas bar and convenience store.
• Responsible for the site’s adherence to policies and procedures including customer service, safety, government, and fuel regulations and guidelines.
• Responsible for maximizing the sales and profitability of the store by monitoring and achieving volume, sales, labour and controllable site expenses.
• Responsible for ensuring all company controls, processes, standards and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
• Responsible for staff training and ensuring all up to date on program offers.

ABOUT YOU: 

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years’ experience of retail management 
• Strong customer service and merchandising skills
• Strong organizations and prioritization skills; committed to deadlines 
• Post-secondary education an asset
• Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail; able to manage large volumes of data
• Computer proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of spreadsheet applications; ability to use a POS software platform as asset
• Demonstrated success in living the values of McDougall Energy
• Strong understanding of Privacy and Confidentiality in the workplace
