Northern Ontario-shot films, TV series receive Canadian Screen Awards nods

Cardinal, Letterkenny, Indian Horse among productions that received nominations

A number of northern Ontario-shot films and television series have received nominations for the 2018 Canadian Screen Awards.

These productions filmed parts or the entirety of their production within the boundaries of northern Ontario, with regional residents making outstanding contributions to each project's success.

Music and Film in Motion issued a news release to congratulate the nominees.

“Please join MFM in taking a moment to congratulate and wish best of luck to the nominated productions as well as recognize the many other accomplishments of northern Ontario's screen based industries,” said the release.
