Velma

Hi, my name is Velma. I came to the shelter as a stray with five kittens on May 28, 2019. My kittens were all adopted so now it’s just me here.

My exact age isn’t known since I was a stray, but I’ve been estimated to be around two years old. I’ve been told I have beautiful markings and I am shy at first but once I warm up, I really do like people and will come and look for affection.

When I first came to the shelter, I was very afraid of people and any sudden movements so I have made leaps and strides in that sense, but I still need patience and time which I know my forever home will understand.

I have been flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated and spayed. I had a rough start at life, but I am ready to get the life I deserve. Come and meet me Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or in the evening 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and even on weekends between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
