Adopt Me: This older girl loves bird-watching

She would do best in a house without any dogs , and preferably no other cats
Olive also loves to sunbathe. Photo provided by the Society for Animals in Distress

ElliotLakeToday, in partnership with the Society For Animals In Distress, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hi, I’m Olive!

I came to the shelter as a surrender after my owner suddenly passed away.

I’m an older girl, around seven years old.

I am declawed so I don’t scratch, but I sure can slap, and I like to run the cat room.

I would do best in a house without any dogs - I’m not a fan of them.

I tolerate cats but I would do better alone where I can get all the love and affection I can get.

You can usually find me sunning in the cat room or sitting on a perch looking out the window at the birds.

I have been spayed, flea and worm treated and am fully vaccinated.

If you think I’d be a good addition to your family, you can come meet with me at the shelter Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
