Adopt Me: Sullivan is still waiting for his furever home

He is a polite guy, who is very quiet and almost never meows

ElliotLakeToday, in partnership with the Society For Animals In Distress, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hi, my name is Sullivan! I’m known in the cat room as Sully. I came to the shelter on Oct. 31, 2018 making me the second longest shelter cat as or right now.

I came in as a stray from Serpent River. I am so thankful to have a warm safe place to be that I don’t even consider trying to escape the cat room.

I’m an older guy – estimated to be around nine years old but I’m still playful! I avoid conflict in the cat room so you can normally find me sleeping nose down on the windowsill or looking out the cat room window.

I had an injury to by back leg when I was younger, so you’ll notice it healed a little crooked, but it doesn’t affect my day to day life.

I enjoy people’s company in the cat room, but I don’t overpower the other cats to get attention. I’m very quiet and almost never meow, when it’s feeding times I just kind of walk around until the girls bring a bowl to me, so I don’t disturb anyone else eating.

Since I was a stray it’s unknown how I do with dogs, but I have met numerous children in the kitten room and I just tolerate them, as I do other cats. I keep to myself and would make a fantastic cat.

You can come and meet me Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or in the evening 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and even on weekends between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. I am ready to find my forever home! I have been neutered, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated.
