There is currently a fire at the Elliot Lake landfill.
Scott Road and the landfill are closed until further notice. Residents are asked to stay clear of the area to allow fire crews to work.
Residents are also urged to take precautions as air quality could be affected. Measures include limiting time outdoors and ensuring that windows in your home are closed.
