It's no groundhog but a sure sign of spring is the restart of water to public places in Elliot Lake and that's beginning on Friday.
The City of Elliot Lake has issued a heads-up that it's restarting water to the cemetery.
"The annual start-up of the Cemetery water reactivation will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024, which may result in temporary discolouration. If you encounter discolouration, simply run the cold water until it clears," says a release from the city.
